beyerdynamic double ribbon microphone
The beyerdynamic M 130 dual ribbon microphone is the counterpart to the M 160 and a perfect complement to its hypercardioid characteristic. Just like the M 160, it is suitable for vocals, amplifiers and as drum overheads, but thanks to its figure-of-eight pattern it also delivers excellent results in room miking eg. in Blumlein arrangement or together with an M 160 in M/S stereophony.
Detailed and natural sound
With its wide frequency response and high impulse response, the M 130 is ideal for miking stringed instruments and drums. The dual ribbon microphone also allows two adjacent instruments to be picked up simultaneously.
Compact design
Due to its small size and robust construction, the M 130 is a practical tool for recording situations where space is literally at a premium.
