The Alesis Q25 is a 25-note, velocity-sensitive, MIDI keyboard controller with USB connectivity.
The Q25 features Pitch and Modulation wheels, as well as backlit Octave Up and Down buttons and a Volume/Data Entry slider, enabling users to easily add expression, range, and dynamics to their performances quickly and effortlessly.
A single USB cable supplies power and data connection to the Q25, with a plug-and-play driver, meaning that it is quick to set up. The Alesis Q25 comes complete with Ableton Live Lite software, making it the complete package for sequencing and recording.
The Q25 is also the perfect choice for controlling software and MIDI hardware devices, as it can send Program Changes from its keys to change programs and patches. The Q25 packs an incredible amount of features into an impressively small package that can easily be carried around with a laptop to complete any portable studio setup.

It arrived quickly and well packaged (maybe a bit over the top with the size of the outer box) to the UK from Music Store. I'm not a keyboard player and the 25 keys - with octave up/down buttons - are plenty for my needs. The unit seems solid and well built. There are plenty of small USB keyboards out there but I'm old school and I like the fact that this has midi out. There is provision for a separate power supply (not included in the purchase) but I power mine directly from a power socket into the USB input. Are looks important? For me, yes, and this thing looks good.
worked perfectly with acid pro.apart from velocity,other functions i.e volume,midi channel all controlled by daw,all i had to do was play.25 keys more than sufficient for range with the 2 octave shift up and down.overall very happy with this product.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Easy to use/setup, takes up v little space and thankfully has midi out as well as USB midi. Velocity response is good, but I’m no keyboard player. Build quality seems very good for the price. And it won’t break the bank.
