The Behringer TRUTH B1030A at a glance
With the TRUTH B1030A, Behringer expands its product line with another excellent sounding, ultra-rare and powerful studio monitor. A new addition is the 5.25" deformation-resistant woofer for the ultimate in precise bass reproduction in an eye-catching yellow design. Also new to the magnetically shielded B1030A are the Linkwitz-Riley filters, the separately adjustable limiters for HF overload and LF overload, the "Planet Earth" mains connection for absolutely interference-free operation and the various acoustic adjustment options for an even larger "sweet spot" and operation of the monitors in almost any room.
If you are planning to use this speaker for mixing it is not a good choice. It has a strong and unnatural emphasis in bass and the sound is not clear enough for a decent mix.
I had the same bad experience while using it along with a cab simulator for electric guitar practice. In this price range there are much better choices.
If you are planning to use the speaker to listen to music or as part of a home theater it is a great choice.
