With the fully solid Epiphone Masterbilt DR-500MCE NT the manufacturer Epiphone presents a classic electro-acoustic Western guitar in dreadnought design. Due to its construction of a solid spruce top and a solid mahogany body, the guitar transports very clear trebles and warm, powerful basses, making it ideal for rhythm and accompaniment vocals. As the name Masterbilt suggests, the DR-500MCE is the premium instrument in the Epiphone acoustic family and is therefore designed to be extremely user-friendly. The mahogany neck with a Slim Taper "D" profile and a rosewood fingerboard is equipped with a Slim Taper "D" profile. Thanks to a nut width of 42.7 mm and a scale length of 648 mm, it is particularly easy to play and makes it child's play for passionate electric guitarists. The entire work is rounded off with precise Grover tuners, diamond inlays and a noble high-gloss finish.
dont expect a well decorated guitar(due to the lack of mother of pearl inlays etc)...but its a fantastic sounding piece of art,and its loud.
its well worth much more than what you pay for.
great service from the ms rep.i cannt say anymore
I have had this guitar now for over three years. I love it every bit today that I did the day I bought it, and probably more so. The sound is both bright and warm at the same time, capturing what I would call the perfect balance of tones. The set up was perfect out of the box, and the finish and small details make it a beautiful instrument. The electronics offer a wide range of sounds, and you can blend the two pickups to really dial in the perfect sound when youre plugged in. The neck is big, but easily playable, and the satin finish on the back of the neck makes getting around the guitar simple, even if youre a bit sweaty from those stage lights. For this price, you wont find anything even close. All solid-wood construction, bone bridge and nut, grover tuners, stereo output, amazing electronics, and great style, If youre looking at Martins, Taylors, Gibsons, or any of the other high priced names, do yourself a favour and try one of these out. You will be VERY surprised. My only complaint is that it tends to be a rather quiet instrument, but I suspect that the cut-a-way and electronics are responsible for that. If you need volume though, just plug it in!
Hello! I generally liked the guitar. You have an error on the site, confused pictures of tools: color sunburst in the picture, but in fact natural and vice versa. Gives a little background piezo, and everything is fine. I am pleased!
Couldn't be happier with this guitar.... great build quality, beautiful sound. Electronics on the delivered item was a Fishman Presys rather than the E-sonic 2 which was described in the listing, but from a quick web search Epiphone has moved across to this preamp and it sounds great with more tone control. Only one output though. Personally I'm very happy with this alternative.
