The Fame Reflex Cymbal Set-1 (Silver) is a collection of Reflex Series Cymbals, with a 20” Ride, 16” Crash and 14” Hi-Hats. They possess a Fast Attack, Assertive Tone and Medium Sustain. These Cymbals are an excellent choice to stimulate versatility on an established Kit, or as an initial Ride.
Reflex Series Cymbals are created using a unique Brass Alloy by Turkish percussion specialists, and feature a Silver finish. Reflex Series Cymbals are ideal for Rock, Blues and Funk styles, and on Standard Drum Kits.
Fame Reflex Cymbal Set-1 (Silver)This pair fits well for a starter or perhaps to soft blues/jazz. Wouldn't recommend playing speed metal with these.
Sound quality is clear and mid-scale, sounds real nice in brush play.
Though i'm a guitarist I wanted to branch out and give drums a go.
My local practise room has a drum kit set up, all you need is to take your cymbals and sticks.
I didn't want to waste money by buying really expensive cymbals as I wasn't sure if I wanted to pursue drumming, so I opted for these until I made a choice.
Though not a drummer I was really happy with the quality of them.
The crash creates a fantastic sound, and the ride too is fantastic.
I purchased them alongside a Musicstore cymbal bag and they fit perfect into it. After almost 4 months they're still going strong.
Overall i'm really happy, and if you're looking into getting into drumming then these are the way to go :)
Whether in a small live gig, a concert hall or a rehearsal or recording room, these won't let you down and cut through the mix like a hot knife carving butter!
These cymbals came with my Sonor Player kit. I went for the bundle which includes these cymbals, because I was hoping they will be worthy of modifying, like putting jingles and rivets on them, but the sound is just too bright, loud and harsh and very un-dynamic. Honestly, I can't imagine someone being pleased with their performance even as starter cymbals.
