FENDER Deluxe Active Jazz Bass Pau Ferro Fretboard Olympic White
Four-string electric bass with Pau Ferro fretboard, two Cermamic Noiseless pickups and active 3-band tone control, including gigbag
With the Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass Pau Ferro Fretboard Olympic White, the traditional American manufacturer presents a versatile interpretation of this popular classic. Equipped with two powerful dual-coil ceramic noiseless pickups, the four-string provides a broad sound spectrum with a modern character, ranging from a wiry presence tone with precise articulation of the bridge pickup to the powerful bass foundation of the middle pickup. With the active 3-band tone control, the sound can be precisely adjusted, whereby the equalizer works musically even in extreme settings. High-quality hardware in form of the sustain-promoting Fender HiMass bridge and classic vintage style Mecahniken completes the equipment of the Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass.
The Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass convinces with its versatile sound.

Great service from dv247 and great price. Played bass for about 35 years and have played Ibanez, Rickenbacker, Manson, Musicman and Maruszczyk. Despite these playing experiences, as a practical instrument, the fender Jazz was hard to beat. Looked at the more expensive American version but after research, went for the Mexican. Reason, the American version has a C to D profile neck, where as the Mexican as the thinner C profile which I prefer. Playability is great, a little too easy and there is a temptation to over play. The 18v active is an immense eq. I play about 50 gigs a year in all settings and tend to set the amp to the room and then use the base to refine the tone depending on the song. The mid control is this basses secrete weapon and allows you to get any tone you want. I gave 4 stars for build, volume pot was a little tight and the bridge allen key was the wrong size(you need the smallest used on badass bridges). There are many basses to choose these days but if you want a bass that does the job, for the money this a great instrument. Finally, factory setup was good and I would highly recommend.
