With the Furch Orange Gc-SR the Czech manufacturer presents a high-quality"Master's Choice" Western guitar with selected woods from the current Rainbow series. The combination of Sitka spruce top and a rosewood body produces a distinctly clear and balanced sound with powerful basses and expressive treble frequencies. A strong mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard offers the player a distinctly comfortable grip and, with its flat "V" profile, allows for precise guitar playing without much effort. The high-quality L.R. Baggs Element VTC pickup also offers the player a very natural and authentic tone, so the designation "Master's Choice" is 100% justified here.

Solid Sitka spruce top from AAA-grade.
A top wood of this grade produces a particularly powerful and clear sound, which is particularly expressive and clear in the high frequencies. However, this is only one factor in the selection of this masterpiece. The AAA grade mainly means that special emphasis is placed on visual characteristics, which means that the grain turns out very fine and even and is interspersed with subtle flames. A fine maple/Padauk binding frames the entire top and creates a smooth transition to the body woods. A padauk soundhole rosette stands out very clearly through the pale spruce wood and elegantly rounds off the overall appearance.

A body made of indian rosewood
The back and sides were also selected with special care by the manufacturer. The coarse-grained Indian rosewood produces powerful basses and forms a perfect interplay with the treble-rich spruce top. Because of its dark color, the structure of the wood stands out very clearly and allows the observer a deep insight into the parallel lines and multi-faceted color gradients. The folded back of the guitar is separated by a fine white line and is bound with a binding of maple and padauk.

The flat mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard is another highlight of the acoustic guitar due to its comfortable playability. With a flat "V" profile, the neck is optimally matched to the 649 mm scale length and the 44.45 mm nut width and offers the player the best access to all 20 frets. To make the instrument suitable for stage use, the manufacturer equips the Orange Gc SR with a high-quality L.R. Baggs Element VTC pickup system, which reproduces the natural sound of the guitar with undistorted amplification. Precise Schaller M6 Silver tuners with 1:18 ratio and polished ebony buttons allow the player to tune easily and guarantee high tuning stability. The guitar is factory-equipped with Elixir Nanoweb strings in Phosphor Bronze, which gently amplify the guitar's tonal characteristics and perfectly round out the overall sound.
