Thanks to the clear operating concept, the right sound is found in a flash with the Hartke LH1000. With just three controls for bass, midrange and treble, the musically tuned equalizer allows the sound spectrum to be shaped effectively and precisely, whereas the Brite switch calls up additional brilliance for increased assertiveness. There's also a switchable limiter that subtly cuts unwanted peaks to prevent distortion. Last but not least, the LH1000 Head offers a serial FX loop for integrating external effects devices and a balanced direct-out for easy bass signal extraction on stage or in the recording studio.
At the heart of the Hartke LH1000 top are two separate power amplifiers, which with up to 545 watts of power into 2 ohms in bi-amping mode, provide bloodcurdling volume reserves for the biggest stages. The balance control allows the power amplifiers to be precisely tuned to each other, so that even different speaker combinations can be used optimally. In bridge mode, which combines the two power amplifiers, the Harte LH 1000 Head offers an incredible 1100 Watts at 4 Ohms, which makes the floor shake and hammers every note played with a juicy punch into the pit of your stomach.
The Hartke LH1000 has converted me to the brand. Unbelievable value for money. Build quality, look and feel of an amp twice it’s price. Plenty of power without compromising sound quality. Deliberately simple controls are quite liberating actually and don’t limit your options. All in all, a great amp for any genre of music.
