The Ibanez SRH505 DEF 5-String Bass Dragon Eye Burst Flat is a five-string electric bass guitar featuring a spruce top, a mahogany body, a jatoba/bubinga neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and a dragon eye burst flat finish. The SR guitar offers a modern alternative for bass players nowadays with a smooth, fast neck, lightweight body and perfectly matched electronics. Featuring a semi-hollow body construction, this bass guitar contains a maximised hollow space, to deliver a rich acoustic tone.

The custom bridge contains the AeroSilk Piezo system that works with D'Addario ECB81 flat wound strings to provide a sense of a classic upright sound. The specially designed forearm contour on the body top offers playing comfort and adds an elegant accent to its appearance. A rosewood fretboard with offset position markers, tops a five-piece jatoba/bubinga neck with a contoured neck heel that creates a deep neck joint with unfettered access to the upper frets.
