14-Fret dreadnought, all solid, Adirondack spruce top, rosewood body, select hardwood neck, ebony fingerboard, case included.
With the Martin D-28 Adirondack, the traditional U.S. manufacturer from Nazareth in Pennsylvania presents a special edition of the legendary dreadnought classic, which is still one of the most popular models in the world of acoustic guitars today. With its clear frequencies and clean response, it is perfect for strumming and fine picking. Equipped with a top made of Adirondack spruce, every single note unfolds very quickly in combination with a wafer-thin lacquer and forward-shifted X-bracing and with long lasting overtones. A body made of East Indian rosewood enriches the entire sound with rich bass frequencies so that a broad sound carpet is created with every stroke. For maximum playing comfort, Martin Guitars uses a neck made of Select Hardwood with an ebony fretboard. Thanks to a nut width of 44.45 mm, the neck is accommodating and easy to grip in all 20 frets. In addition, a compensated bone bridge inlay and a fine-notched nut ensure a clean intonation over the entire 645 mm scale length. Open nickel tuners are inserted into the characteristic headstock, which give the dreadnought acoustic guitar a classic touch, allow precise tuning of the 6 steel strings and are a perfect match for the plain bindings, the multi-stripe soundhole rosette and the Tortoise pickguard. The Martin D-28 Adirondack comes with a sturdy molded hardshell case.
A rich sound thanks to an Adirondack spruce top and an East Indian rosewood body.
