Native Instruments Complete Control S88 MK2 is an 88-key keyboard controller that features pre-configured mapping for all Complete Instruments and can control hundreds of leading third-party instruments through Native Control Standard (NKS). At the same time, the Complete Control S88 MK2 offers full VSTi support, features a Light Guide and has two high-resolution color displays. Native Instruments Complete Control S88 MK2 is also compatible with many DAWs and includes Complete 11 Select for free download.
Native Control Standard (NKS)
The Native Control Standard (NKS) opens the Complete Control System for all software developers and sets new standards for software/hardware integration. The entire spectrum of software instruments can be changed and controlled directly and intuitively.

Native Instruments Complete Control S88 MK2 has RGB lights above each key that signalize drum cells, key switches, chords, keys and more. You can also recognize keys and inversions with the Light Guide.
Compatibility
The Native Instruments Complete Control S88 MK2 provides intuitive control of Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, Cubase, Nuendo and GarageBand. Complete Kontrol S88 MK2 integrates seamlessly with MASCHINE hardware and software.

There is lots to like about the S88 MK2 but over and above the Komplete Kontakt integration the very best thing about it is the keybed. This thing is just a dream to play. Really great feel and very sensitive. Playing super soft to super hard and everything in between with a good piano sample (one with a lot of velocity sample layers) and you can not only feel but hear the difference.
Only 4 stars because documentation (and indeed online support) from Native Instruments is almost none existent. Also there seems to be a couple of small issues integrating with Logic with the latest Mac OS but once you have figured that out you won't be sorry you spent the money on this. It's solid and built to last - full disclosure, this is for my studio - not for gigging. your milage may vary.
