Fine woods and detailed workmanship
For the construction of the Custom 24 BlackGoldBurst , the luthiers at Paul Reed Smith only use selected woods that result in a perfect sound experience. Selected mahogany is used for the body, while the solid curly maple top has a strong and even flame. The glued mahogany neck with its well-shaped "pattern regular" profile offers the perfect balance between a rich feel and smooth playability. On the rosewood fingerboard, more traditional bird inlays provide the best orientation between the 24 frets.

PRS 85/15 humbucker for versatile sound options
Two PRS 85/15 humbuckers are used as pickups on the PRS Custom 24, which were personally developed by Paul Reed Smith on the occasion of the company's 30th anniversary. These pickups impress with their clear sound, whose extended bass and treble spectrum provides the perfect basis for classic and modern sounds, from the warm, sparkling Clean to singing Overdrive and punchy riffs.
The 5-way switch can be used to call up furthermore different circuit combinations for different sound nuances:

High-quality hardware
The features of the Paul Reed SmithCustom 24 BlackGoldBurst are completed by high-quality Hardware in-house hardware. On the body side, the strings are held in place by the tried-and-tested PRS Gen III tremolo, which impresses with its smooth handling and high functionality and provides a comfortable rest for the hand thanks to its rounded edges. On the headstock, the strings run with a straight pull from the nut to the PRS Phase III Locking tuners. These guarantee high tuning stability even with frequent vibrato use and make it much easier to change strings. The PRS Custom 24 is also supplied in an elegant PRS case, which offers the electric guitar the best possible protection during transportation.
