Positive Grid BIAS Head

The Positive Grid BIAS Head is a guitar amplifier with a 600W output containing models of vintage, modern and boutique guitar amps. Positive Grid modelled the best-sounding guitar amps down to their individual electronic components including the transformers, tubes, resistors and capacitors. This means that the BIAS Head offers a stunning response to your feel regardless of playing style, tapping, volume swells, or slide/wah use – the sound is identical to as if you were playing through the original amps. The Amp Match function lets you capture the exact sound of any guitar amp including rare models.

Twist a knob to immediately switch from an ultra-clean solid-state head to a velvety tube amp – you can even create hybrid versions of classic amps. Adjust the balance of power amp and preamp distortion by turning two knobs. The BIAS Head’s tone stacks for Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence change their tone with each amp model you play through, sounding like the original amps. The rear panel has all the connections you’ll ever require for connecting an external cab for use onstage, plugging directly into recording gear, looping out to your favourite effects boxes, and rehearsing with your band.
