Electro acoustic guitar with 12 strings, cutaway and pickup system
The Red Hill AF-8 12-string is ideal for vocal accompaniment thanks to its double strings and large dreadnought body. Due to the ultra-thin laminated tonewoods, the sound is developed quickly and over a wide area, so that even with light strokes a stately sound result can be achieved. At the same time, the easy-grip neck in combination with a generous cutaway guarantees optimal access to all 20 frets. Furthermore, the 12 steel strings can be tuned easily and precisely with the help of the chrome-plated die-cast tuners. To make the instrument suitable for stage use, a pickup system is built into the AF-8 12 string, which can transmit the acoustic sound to an amplifier without distortion. The guitar is completed by a noble high-gloss finish and simple inlays.

Construction and woods
Thanks to the combination of a laminated spruce top and a laminated Sapele body, the bass and midrange frequencies are enriched with a pleasant warmth so that the chorus effect produced by the double stringing is particularly effective. Therefore, expressive strummings, as well as fine Pickings, can be played with the guitar without any problems. The Nato neck is very easy to handle on the composite fingerboard.

Hardware and design
To ensure clean intonation over the entire 650 mm scale length, the saddle and the 49 mm wide nut are finely tuned to each other. In addition, the headstock is equipped with chrome-plated die-cast tuners for easy tuning of all 12 strings. The individual components of the body are bordered by single-ply, cream-colored bindings that contrast tastefully with the woods used. Visually, the instrument is rounded off by the high-gloss finish.
