The Red Hill D-1 SB II at a glance
The Red Hill D-1 SB IIDreadnoughtacoustic guitar is ideal for beginners and advanced players thanks to its easy-grip neck and solid hardware. Thanks to its lightweight laminated construction, the large dreadnought body produces a powerful and warm sound that develops quickly and full-bodied. This means that even light strumming is rewarded with an impressive sound. A robust and attractive sunburst high-gloss finish also makes the instrument a reliable companion when traveling or at campfire sessions.
A student acoustic guitar with an easy-grip neck and full sound at an affordable entry-level price.
Equipped with a black pickguard on the top.
Construction and woods
The extensive dreadnought body is largely responsible for the assertive sound. This very traditional design produces transparent mid-range and warm bass frequencies, making the Red Hill D-1 SB II perfect for vocal accompaniment and practice. The laminated lime wood and an X-bracing also ensure an extremely fast response. At the same time, the round mahogany neck with a composite fingerboard guarantees a comfortable grip on the strings.
Smooth-running die-cast mechanisms for precise tuning.
Hardware and design
To ensure clean intonation over the entire 650 mm scale length, the 43 mm widenut and the bridge inlay are made of high-quality Nubone. Particularly beginner-friendly are the smooth-running die-cast tuners with chrome hardware which enable precise tuning of the strings. The instrument is visually rounded off by cream-colored ABS bindings on the body and fretboard, which clearly separate the individual parts of the guitar from each other.
Service and quality control:
Even all very affordable guitars are carefully checked before shipping, reworked if necessary and pre-tuned. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the appearance of the instruments in the lower price categories will be flawless, as sound and playability are the main factors for us when selecting our affordable products.
We therefore ask you to accept minor visual defects in workmanship!
I received my guitar model D 1 CE NT Natural High Gloss and I was pleasantly surprised that the instrument was relatively inexpensive and didn’t require any modifications or adjustments; all ideally fast delivery I put 5 stars !!!
