The SPL Marc One offers audiophile sound quality and the innovative loudspeaker matrix from the large Phonitor series with continuously adjustable crosstalk as well as 2 additional switchable loudspeaker outputs. As with all items in the One series, no compromises have been made with regard to the quality of the components: 2 highly sophisticated Burr-Brown OPA2134 operational amplifiers with extremely short response times ensure an increased liveliness and openness of the sound image, premium gold electrolytic capacitors from Panasonic and an elaborately designed DC voltage decoupling significantly improve the reproduction of trebles.
The output stage is designed in Class AB circuitry and delivers sufficient power even for headphones with 600Ohm impedance. Despite the 12V standard plug, the power supply unit is able to provide supply voltages of 34V for the preamplifier and 38V for the output stage and, thanks to the output buffer, has sufficient current reserves for high impedance headphones. With Marc One, you have a concise and targeted way to enjoy your music in reference quality.
Monitoring via loudspeakers can also be managed via Marc One: It allows you to connect and switch between two pairs of loudspeakers including a subwoofer with home or studio level, which can be set via DIP switches. The signal can be passed on to other equipment via the stereo line-out. Like Phonitor One, the SPL Marc One has balanced and unbalanced inputs. To facilitate professional monitoring, both inputs can be connected together, the signal can be summed to mono and the left and right channels can be swapped.
Compared to the Control One, the Marc One has a high-quality DA-converter with AKM chip, to which a stereo source can be connected via USB. The SPL Marc One accepts Mac, PC, Android and iOS.
