The Stromberg Monterey continues the tradition of the first early Archtop guitars of the Big Band era and follows the high standards of their legendary role models. The slender guitar in Semi-Hollow construction delivers warm acoustic character thanks to its sophisticated top construction, while two Kent Armstrong Convertible P90 pickups in the Humbucker format are responsible for the electrical sound conversion. This Monterey is completed by a Bigsby B-70 vibrato system as well as a classic Roller Bridge sound that is stable for tuning Vibrato at any time.
The Stromberg Monterey Solid Black Aged is a classic semi-acoustic electric guitar with Nitro finish, Amber Pickups and Bigsby Vibrato .

The body construction Monterey combines the full and round acoustic sound of classic hollow body models with the narrow frame width of agile semi-hollows and offers a sound with a strong character and pleasant playability in all registers at the same time. The back, frame and top Stromberg Monterey are made entirely of maple, following the originals, while the massive center block on higher Gain settings prevents unwanted feedback.
