In classic style, the Yamaha FGX800C comes with a solid spruce top and laminated sides and back made of Nato and Okoume. Furthermore, the top has been fitted with scalloped bracing and an extremely thin finish. This results in a balanced and powerful sound with clear basses, nuanced mids and brilliant highs. A flat neck profile and a flat string action provide easy playability and the cutaway also makes playing in the higher registers a pleasure. Thanks to the in-house System 66 pickup, the experienced guitarist has full access to the tone control. In addition to a volume control a three-band equalizer is already integrated, with which bass, mids and treble can be adjusted. The built-in tuner ensures a good sound on stage, making precise tuning of child's play.
