The Q8 Handy Video Recorder is a high resolution video camera with wide-angle lens, a user-friendly touch-screen and flexible mounting options. This wearable audio recorder offer two combo inputs, next to the replaceable microphone capsule, and can record four channels in top quality. The Q8 is the perfect creative tool.
The Zoom Q8 is the first Camcorder with a replaceable microphone capsule. An X/Y microphone is included as standard, and the Q8 is compatible with all Zoom microphone capsules. If you already own an H5 or H6, you can also use the included capsules with the Q8.

Audio is far better than picture, but i'll be using this camera to record over 300 drum lessons for my new book. Drum Kit Lessons - A Comprehensive Drum Course.
Very early days but have done one recording so far, not the most straight forward for me, but managed to find out how it worked by perseverance. Glad I did, sound quality amazing, I had sound from XR18 mixer as well as the x/y mics, brilliant. The video quality is adequate, up to 2k HD so quite usable, I only used 1080 and 24bit 48khz. Far better than a conventional camera videoing, this is designed for the job, with musicians in mind. Very happy with my choice
