With the Boss DCB-LX DUAL CUBE BASS LX Boss sends the next Generation of the popular Cube Amp for E-Bass into the race. With a comprehensive set of full features, the Dual Cube Bass LX not only cuts a fine figure when practicing at home, but also when jamming, recording and streaming. In addition to five different amp simulations and a selection of effects optimally matched to the Bass, the practical amp offers a rhythm guide with varied drum patterns for practicing the precise groove, a loop recorder and an audio interface. The stereo speaker system with two five-watt outputs, which is optimally matched to the output of bass sounds, also promises an amazingly full and detailed sound even at a volume suitable for living room use.
The panel on the top allows quick and intuitive access to all sound parameters of the Boss DCB-LX Dual Cube Bass LX.
Varied sound design
To provide variety when practicing and jamming, Boss equips the Dual Cube Bass LX amp with extensive options for shaping the perfect sound. Five different amp types with gain and volume controls to adjust provide varied basic sounds that range from absolutely clean hi-fi tone to warm vintage sounds to a pleasant rock growl. In addition to the compressor and overdrive effect, which can be adjusted with just one knob, five classic effects are available in the form of chorus, flanger, touch wah, reverb and delay, which are perfectly tuned to the E-Bass. In addition, the BassDual Cube LX offers a 3-band tone control and a master volume to finalize the sound.
Rhythm guide and looper
To ensure that you hit the groove precisely when playing and practicing Bass, the DCB-LX Dual Cube Bass LX comes with a practical rhythm guide. In addition to a classic metronome, the drum computer provides rhythm patterns from eight different musical genres, each with three variations for variety. In conjunction with an optionally available footswitch, the integrated loop recorder of the Dual Cube Bass is also available, with the help of which song structures and tracks can be developed.
Above the battery compartment, all connections of the Dual CUBE Bass LX are located in a clear arrangement.
Stereo speaker system
The stereo speaker system of the Boss DCB-LX DUAL CUBE BASS LX promises a full bass sound even at levels suitable for the neighborhood. Two 5" Boss Custom design speakers and the two five-watt power amplifier deliver a full and lively sound image that also skillfully reproduces fine playful details.
Extensive connections
Last but not least, the Boss DCB-LX Dual Cube Bass LX amplifier is suitable as a compact all-round solution for recording and streaming due to its extensive connections. The integrated audio interface not only promises a rich Bass sound in the DAW, but is also suitable for live streams or distance learning in conjunction with the headset-compatible Phones connection. Two balanced line outs in XLR format are available for direct pickup of the stereo sound. In addition, the Dual Cube Bass LX is prepared for the installation of the optionally available BT-DUAL Bluetooth module, which not only allows music playback and control of the amp via the Boss Editor app, but can also connect to the also optionally available Boss EV-1-WL Wireless MIDI expression pedal.
