This is the best overdrive pedal I own. The sound it produces goes from it just being an almost clean gain pedal to a really wonderfully rich overdrive sound that responds beautifully to picking dynamics. If you are playing a solo that goes from almost quiet with crescendo to heavy picking action with 2 string power chords - it sounds so good. I know it's a digital pedal, so not one for the die hard analogue freaks, but the background noise is almost non existent at all levels of volume and drive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
