The Darkglass Hyper Luminal Hybrid Compressor combines a fully analog VCA-based signal path with digital control to create a highly versatile electric bass compressor. Accordingly, the compact pedal with SYM, BUS and FET offers three different sound characters, the first of which emulates the Darkglass Super Symmetry compressor in detail, while the latter emulates the greatest classics in studio history. The "Compression" knob and the "Ratio" sensor can be used to determine the degree and ratio of compression, while the "Time" knob provides simultaneous access to attack and release behavior. In addition, the "Blend" potentiometer can be used to mix in the clean signal so that the intimate attack is retained. The Darkglass Hyper Luminal can also be connected to the Darkglass Suite via the side USB port, allowing precise adjustment of all effect parameters.
