Each of these Pure Vintage pickups is manufactured to strict specifications, ranging from traditional coil construction to faithful cloth wiring, to reproduce the genuine, unadulterated Fender sound quality and performance. A special feature is the center pickup, which is reverse-wound and reverse-polarity. This detail ensures that the typical mains hum is effectively suppressed in switch positions 2 and 4, while at the same time giving the sound in these settings the legendary Stratocaster quack.
