Genelec 8050BMM - Active monitor for Studio and mastering

The Genelec 8050BMM is the largest 2-way studio monitor in the 8000 series and is ideal for music production, mastering, post-production and broadcasting. With high level reserves, it is suitable for close and medium listening distances in rooms up to 40 m².

The aluminum housing offers acoustic advantages such as rounded edges for optimum localization and neutral sound reproduction. A wide listening zone enables fatigue-free working, even outside the sweet spot. The flow-optimized bass reflex channel extends the bass range down to 32 Hz, while switchable filters make it easier to adapt to installation locations.

The IsoPod stand decouples the monitor and allows flexible alignment. Wall and ceiling mounting is also possible via threaded holes. An auto standby functionactivates the monitor when required and switches it to sleep mode after one hour without a signal, which can be deactivated if required.

Despite its compact dimensions, the 8050 delivers impressive performance and resolution.

For more depth, the Genelec 7370 or 7040 subwoofers are the perfect complement.
