Grayscale's Permutation 12 is a complex combination of sequencer and clocked random generator based on the Turing Machine. By means of a cyclically shifting calculation model and white noise, a sequence of up to eight individual gates and a CV value is generated, which is output to SEQ. The module is also capable of storing sequences and controlling the intensity of the output voltages via its own VCA. The internal noise generator has its own output.
With the separately available VARIANT module, the Permutation 12 can be extended by an 8-step CV sequencer with additional CV inputs as well as positive and negative CV outputs.
