To elicit an adequate sound spectrum from the guitar amplifier, the M8B guitar relies on two powerful open-coil humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. The powerful dual coils convince not only with an aggressive Distortion in the distorted channel but also with rich tones for harmonic cleans. While the assertive character of the bridge pickup lets every note played whip out of the speakers rich and punchy, the round, warm sound of the neck humbucker lends itself to fluid melodies and broad chords. Besides the 3-way switch for pickup selection, the electric guitar has general volume and tone pots for adjusting the tone.

Reliable hardware
Last but not least, J & D completes the M8B Black matte with reliable attachments, perfectly matched to the Singlecut guitar in terms of function and appearance. The strings, which are directly anchored in the body, are guided by a Tune-O-Matic bridge, whose extensive adjustment possibilities promise exact intonation and comfortable string position, even when stronger strings and drop tunings are used. In addition, die-cast tuners with encapsulated gears on the headstock keep the electric guitar securely in the correct tuning.
