The MOTU 24Ao is a USB audio interface with AVB networking function via Ethernet port. It is particularly suitable for applications where many output channels are required, such as live events with many speakers. In the Puncto Hardware it is both technically and with regard to the processing on the usual high MOTU level and does not shy away from mobile applications. In addition, the excellent audio quality of the 24Ao with sampling rates of up to 192 kHz and 32-bit floating point resolution will convince even professional producers. As a welcome addition, the MOTU 24Ao also offers the integrated standalone mixer function, which provides access to 48 channels.

AVB Network and Standalone Mixer Application
The MOTU 24Ao can also be connected to other AVB audio interfaces through the AVB Ethernet port, as mentioned earlier. This can be done either by a direct Ethernet cable connection from interface to interface or via the single available MOTU AVB Switch, which can also be used to connect more than two MOTU audio interfaces simultaneously. This way, any number of inputs and outputs can be added to an existing AVB network without much effort. The standalone mixer function of the MOTU 24Ao rounds off the very flexible application profile of the audio interface, as it thus no longer needs to be controlled directly, but can be controlled remotely via a web app on iPhone, iPad, smartphone, tablet or laptop. In this way, certain parameters can be modified. This feature makes the MOTU 24Ao AVB very interesting for mobile use, such as stage or general Live applications. However, it is also excellent for studios, because it can be expanded very well through the AVB network. Furthermore, it is also in home studios in good hands, because it can be created with the high-quality converters and very good 24-bit/192kHz resolution excellent audio recordings.
The audio interface for big gigs
The MOTU 24Ao is made for large events that require many speaker outputs. This would be for example Live applications or gigs, where the large dynamic range of the 24Ao is also an advantage. The standalone mixer function rounds out the profile of the mobile audio interface. In addition, it can also be used very well as a high-quality DA converter thanks to the 24 line outputs.
