Sampler & Groovebox
Circuit Rhythm by Novation is a modern, sample-based groovebox that focuses on the creative use of samples. Eight tracks can be loaded with loops and OneShot samples, edited extensively and rearranged. There's even room for a rechargeable battery in the compact case, so you can let your ideas run free wherever you are. The eight sample-based tracks can be configured with the playback modes Slice, Reverse, LoopandChromatic, resulting in expressive variations in handling the samples. Chromatic makes the samples playable in a certain tonal range. Thanks to the many controls, each part can be spiced up in no time with a resonant filter, envelope and audio effects such as reverb, Delay and the master compressor. New sounds and loops can be imported via MicroSD card or sampled at the audio input itself. The cool vocal from the old jazz record should go into the driving house loop? -The internal possibilities offer a fast conversion and re-sampling. Since the tracks in the concept don't care whether kick and clap are played, a self-recorded hit on the cooking pot or a sampled chord is triggered by the sequencer, there are no limits to creativity. More in-depth sound editing, convenient memory management, sample organization and, of course, OS updates can be done conveniently on the computer with the COMPONENTSsoftware, which is available free of charge.
