The Sennheiser MZS 40 is a shock-mount for use with the MKH 20-70 range of mics.
Shock mount designed for the effective attenuation of structure-borne noise. Muting at 40 Hz: approx. 20 dB. Extra strong rubber O-rings are included for use with the MKH 60 and MKH 70. With 3/8", 5/8", and 1/2" thread insert.
