Acoustic guitar in Nex design with cutaway, solid spruce top, high-gloss finish and three-piece back made of walnut and maple.
With the electro-acoustic Takamine GN93CE-N2 acoustic guitar, the traditional Japanese manufacturer presents the top model from its G series, which covers a wide range of uses due to an integrated pickup system. The balanced sound is decisively shaped by a solid spruce top, which produces clear mid and high frequencies and unfolds the sound quickly and sustainably. Warm bass frequencies are also provided by a three-piece laminated back made of walnut and maple, which enriches the sound with a gentle saturation and gives the instrument an individual appearance. A firm mahogany neck with an Indian Laurel fingerboard offers the player enough space to easily perform solos and extensive chords. In addition, a generous cutaway allows better access to the highest of the 21 frets. A split bridge inlay and a finely notched 42.8 mm wide bridge also ensure clean intonation over the entire scale length of 644 mm and thus provide the option of using other tunings or string gauges without any problems. Gold die-cast tuners, an elaborate double-ring soundhole rosette and a tortoise fingerboard give the acoustic guitar a classic touch, which is refined by high-quality maple bindings and a sapele purfling. The Takamine GN93CE-N2 is rounded off by an in-house Takamine TK-40D pickup system with integrated tuner, a 3-band equaliser with separate mid-contour button and notch filter.
