Description

The LS-Node series is the new RDM/DMX streaming range from WORK PRO that supports the industry standards ArtNet and sACN. The three different models offer between 1 and 4 DMX universes. LS-Node1, LS-Node2 and LS-Node4 each provide the corresponding number of freely configurable DMX universes.

The compact LS nodes correspond to the same form factor as the LS core and are powered via a compact USB-C connector or PoE. With the optional LS-AR 19 rack chassis up to 4 LS-Nodes can be mounted on 1 U in a flightcase.

All LS-Node products have an integrated Ethernet switch with two ports and are multi-protocol capable. They support the industry standards ArtNet and sACN.

The LS nodes are fully compatible with the LightShark consoles and can also be configured via a web server. The DMX frame rate (from 15 to 40 frames/s), firmware upgrades, independent RDM/DMX port routing (each universe can be routed independently to each of the RDM/DMX ports) can be performed and configured via the web interface.

RDM compatibility also enables configuration, status monitoring and management of RDM-enabled fixtures from light consoles.

All models have several operating modes:

  • Single mode: RDM/DMX to ArtNet/sACN transceiver (LS-Node1 & LS-Node2 models), configurable over the network.
  • Merger-Mode: Here the LS-Nodes can receive different universes (via ArtNet/sACN or DMX) and merge them into the same output, where you can choose between HTP and LTP Merge.
  • Backup mode: In backup mode, two consoles can be operated simultaneously on the LS nodes. When the primary console fails, the LS node automatically switches to the secondary console signal with a maximum latency of 3 seconds.
