The Akai BT500 Premium Performance Belt-Drive Turntable is a belt-driven vinyl player with a sleek distinctive look and excellent audio delivery. The BT500 is also a wireless streaming device which can send a signal to most standard Bluetooth speakers. Furthermore this turntable is a AD converter, able to catalogue vinyl recordings to digital hard-drives using the included software and a USB connection. The BT500 can be connected to a stereo system or, utilising the Phono Pre-Amp switch, directly to active speakers.
In a more traditional context this turntable cannot be faulted. The belt-drive uses a mechanically insulated motor meaning a practically silent and vibration-free operation, and the die-cast aluminium plate ensures an excellent signal noise distance.
