The Freq Up Custom Boost from the young French effects specialists Anasounds is a versatile tool for sound shaping. This Pedal either helps a relatively weak Amp one to get started or, depending on the position of the Gain knob, convinces with its soft crunch sound, which brings bluesy licks to life. In addition, the Anasounds Freq Up has a 3-way tone switch with which the sound can be further adjusted.
Inside the pedal, which has a laser-engraved mahogany cover, there are a number of other control elements that can be used to influence the Anasounds Freq Up playback. The Roll Off potentiometer can be used to influence the saturation frequency, which determines whether the crunch starts with a rich creaminess or has a rich overtone spectrum with a modern imprint. The clipping switch also influences the compression behavior of the booster, while the three Clean /Fat miniswitches can be used to influence the behavior of the Gain slider.
