The Audio Technica ATW-1701/P1 is a digital wireless microphone system for cameras. With its compact and mobile design, the digital wireless camera system is the ideal companion for video productions, reportages and all other mobile applications, for which it is equipped with a variety of mounting options. The pairing option, independent frequency management and easy mounting option on many camera models, makes it an extremely easy to use system. The fully digital transmission delivers superior sound quality at 24-bit / 48 kHz and is completely immune to interference and noise from DVB-T and LTE thanks to the 2.4 GHz range.
The system consists of an ATW-R1700 receiver, an ATW-T1001 bodypack transmitter and an AT829cW condenser lavalier microphone. The ATW-R1700 receiver is plugged onto the hot shoe mount included in the scope of delivery and connected to the camera using the 3.5mm stereo cable. The ATW-T1001 pocket transmitter is then used to connect the lavalier microphone.
The System 10 continuously monitors activity in the 2.4 GHz band and automatically switches to the next best frequency in the event of potential interference from WLAN routers, Bluetooth devices and other RF microphones. The 2.4 GHz frequency band allows you to operate far away from costly licensing procedures and frequency coordination issues or frequencies used by DVB-T and LTE.
Automatic frequency selection
The System 10 automatically changes its frequency. Unlike other manufacturers' systems that use 2 or 4 fixed frequencies, the System 10 continuously monitors the entire frequency range and automatically switches to a better frequency should the need arise. Means that the system always works on the 2 best possible frequencies without the user having to intervene manually.
