With the FL2EC-BB the Australian manufacturer Cole Clark presents a solid dreadnought from the popular Fat Lady series, which is ideal for both the stage and the couch. Accordingly, a blanket of Australian Bunya on a body of Tasmanian Blackwood resonates with tight and powerful bass, radiant and vocal mids, and brilliant highs. This makes this Dreadnought ideal for a powerful vocal accompaniment with strumming or flatpicking.
In addition, a compensated Graph Tech TUSQ bridge inlay ensures clean intonation and a flat string position, while chrome-plated Grover die-cast mechanisms keep the tuning clean and ensure precise tuning. With the implemented cutaway, gripping in the higher positions is also possible without problems, even a saddle width of 44mm leaves plenty of room for fingerstyle.
For stage use, the amazing in-house Cole Clark 3-Way pickup system is available, which uses three different pickups to transmit the grandiose sound of the guitar naturally, percussively and with a lot of dynamics. Accordingly, a piezo under-saddle pickup was combined with a ceiling pickup and a condenser microphone. Last but not least, a case is already included.
