The DiMarzio Crunch Lab Bridge F-Spaced Black/Cream Humbucker was developed together with John Petrucci of Dream Theater and accordingly turns out to be a modern pickup for first-class progressive metal sounds. Due to the special coil layout with a large blade pole piece and six hex pole crews, the ceramic bridge pickup delivers a powerful sound image that elicits a tight, never blurry Distortion from the guitar amp for intricate riffing and virtuosic high-speed solos, even with drop tunings. In the F-Spaced version, the pole screws have the appropriate spacing for electric guitars with double-locking tremolos.
