Endorphin.es Shuttle Control silver is a MIDI/CV interface module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. The module can receive USB MIDI simultaneously at different USB inputs, for example control signals from a tablet or a PC/Mac via the "to device" jack or via the "to host" jacks of USB MIDI keyboards and MIDI controllers. These MIDI signals can then be passed from 16 CV jacks. LFOs, triggers, control changes and random can also be assigned to the outputs. Mappings can also be designed on the computer via an editor. Furthermore it can be used to power small modular systems.
Editor
With the editor you can design and save up to 16 different mappings which can be called up directly via the module. These can be, for example, up to 8-fold polyphonic setups, which can also be used to realize different CV scales (1V/oct, 1.2V/oct, Hz/V etc.). This way different VCOs working with different CV scales can be addressed simultaneously and integrated into a polyphonic setup.
Power supply
Although the module works independently as a MIDI/CV interface, it can also be used as a power supply for a small modular system. It has an input for a laptop power supply with 12-20V DC and can pass the operating voltages to up to six Module via a long ribbon cable with various Eurorack connectors. The USB sockets also output +5V, so you can also connect an LED lamp, among other things.
OS Update!
The CARGO4update for the Shuttle Control has it all! Besides proven features like converting velocity, MIDI CCs and Aftertouch data into control voltages, there are now exciting new features and enhancements for the arpeggiator. The module can now be programmed as a standalone MIDI clockwith different dividers, very handy for setups with many timing-related modules. Also, there are now synchronized flip-flop gates that turn each other on and off in a constant cycle. Likewise, the outputs are programmable as self-generating random gates (pulsers).
