The Epiphone Tony Iommi SG Special Vintage Cherry Lefthand is based on the heavily modified '64 SG of the metal titan from Birmingham, which as the "Monkey SG" defined the sound of the first Black Sabbath albums and is inextricably linked to the birth of heavy metal. The left-handed electric guitar wrapped in classic Cherry Red comes naturally in tradition-conscious solid mahogany construction and offers excellent playing characteristics with the not too powerful "Rounded Iommi C" profile. Two Epiphone PRO P-90 single-coil pickups with chrome caps elicit a surprisingly rich overdrive that's perfect for forging gritty heavy metal riffs. An Adjustable Wraparound Bridge and precise Grover tuners complete the features of Epiphone's Tony Iommi SG Special Vintage Cherry Signature guitar for left-handers. Of course, in addition to the sturdy guitar case, a faithful reproduction of the legendary Monkey sticker is included with the guitar.

Classically built SG Special
A faithful reproduction of a 1964 SG Special, the Epiphone Tony Iommi Signature for left-handers naturally comes in traditional set-neck construction with a two-piece mahogany body and glued mahogany neck, which creates the basis for a powerful sound. The not too strong "Rounded Iommi C" neck profile with 43 mm nut width also promises buttery smooth playing characteristics up to the highest registers of the Indian Laurel fingerboard trimmed with cream-coloured Binding.
Epiphone PRO P-90 single coils with chrome caps and the classic passive electrics provide the authentic Iommi sound on the guitar amp.

The electrical sound transformation of the Tony Iommi SG Special Lefthand is handled by two Epiphone PRO P-90 single coil pickups, matching the original Monkey SG with chrome caps and black frames. At the guitar amplifier, the powerful single coils convince both in the drive and clean channel with a full sound, whose broadly positioned midrange spectrum also helps lower tunings to an enormous assertiveness and sound power. For control over the pickup is also the traditional 3-way circuit with its own volume and tone controls for each pickup.
