Beech wooden stand for handpans and steel tongue drums.
The Fame FHSB-L Handpan Stand Large Beech is a first-class stand for handpans and steel tongue drums. Made of beech and built for standing playing, the stand for handpans stands up to professional demands. The three struts are equipped with a padded support surface on the top, which are made of sturdy foam, reliably protecting the sensitive sound box from shocks and scratches. In addition, the material ensures optimized resonance and free development of the sound without damping the instrument. With the legs fully extended, the playing height is 96 cm, ideal for playing while standing. The legs are held in position by three ropes. The stand fits handpans or steel tongue drums from 35 cm (14") in diameter. The foldable design allows for uncomplicated and space-saving transport.
Used the stand for a couple of weeks and very happy with it. It's a couple of cm to high for my length, 183 cm, so will fit slightly taller people also. Two important tweaks that I recommend. Use lock nuts instead of the dome nuts, and do a proper knot instead of that plastic thing securing the base rope.
