The Fender 1958 Precision Bass Relic MN Super Faded Aged Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst #CZ581861 is a handmade E-Bass from the FenderCustom Shop and delivers an equally authentic Vintage-Sound of the late 50s in addition to excellent workmanship. The model was constructed from high-quality tonewoods and, thanks to its original dimensions, provides an exceptional playing feel. Naturally, the great Precision bass sound is conveyed, which is defined by present mids and a great pick attack. In keeping with the spirit of the fifties, pickup and bridge covers have been fitted to complete the legendary look of the Basses.
Since the 1950s, the incomparable Precision Bass sound has found its way into various genres from blues to rock and everything beyond!

High-quality tonewoods and authentic dimensions
With a two-piece body made from selected ash and a one-piece neck made from quartersawn maple, high-quality tonewood components have been used to ensure both robust handling and long-lasting use. Like the original model from the 1950s, the 1958 Precision Bass has 20 frets and a fretboard radius of 7.25", guaranteeing an authentic vintage feel. The highlight of the E-Bass is the elaborate Super Faded Aged Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst finish, which skillfully highlights the look of a heavily used instrument. The Super Faded Aged treatment is not only noticeable on the body, but has also been incorporated in detail on some frets near the nut, which proves to be a beautiful detail.
