FENDER American Original '60s Jaguar RW Surf Green
Offset electric guitar with two Pure Vintage single coil pickups and vintage floating tremolo, including case
The Fender American Original '60s Jaguar RW Surf Green is an authentic interpretation of the top-of-the-line Fender electric guitar from the wild 1960s, which was originally designed for jazz musicians but became famous in the hands of countless surf rock and alternative rock guitarists. The Fender American Original Jaguar features the authentic offset design with an alder body, screwed maple neck and a shorter 24-inch scale length. Two Fender Pure Vintage '62 Jaguar amplifiers, combined with the typical circuitry that includes lead and rhythm circuitry, deliver particularly versatile sounds. Last but not least, the Fender American Original '60s Jaguar features the Fender VIntage Floating Tremolo and a bridge with mute assembly.
The Fender American Original '60s Jaguar convinces with authentic styling, high playing comfort and versatile sounds.
American Original Jaguar in authentic construction
For the construction of the Fender American Original '60s Jaguar, Fender uses the classic design and original proportions of the 1960s. Accordingly, the body is made of alder in an ergonomic offset design, while the screwed maple neck carries a "Round Laminated" rosewood fingerboard. The shorter 24-inch scale (610 mm) also ensures playing comfort and a warm component in the sound.
Two Fender Pure Vintage Jaguar Single Coils
Two Fender Pure Vintage '62 Jaguar Single Coil Pickups do the electrical sound conversion of the Fender American Original '60s Jaguar. These are manufactured historically correct with coilformers made of vulcanized fibre, enamelled copper wire and Alnico V magnets and framed by Jaguar-typical serrated metal rails. At the amplifier they deliver a warm sound with a crisp response thanks to the powerful output.
Variety thanks to lead and rhythm circuit
The two Pure Vintage single coils of the Fender American Original Jaguar are managed using the typical circuitry, which is divided into lead and rhythm circuitry. In the lead circuit, the pickups can be selected using two on/off slide switches, with master volume and master tone controls allowing the timbre to be adjusted. In addition, the "Strangle" switch is available for activating a bass cut. In the rhythm circuit, which is activated by pressing the slide switch in the upper half of the body, only the neck pickup with separate volume and tone controls is ready. In this way, two different sounds can be conveniently "saved" and recalled.
Vintage Style Hardware
Last but not least, the Fender American Original '60s Jaguar has authentic vintage style hardware. For example, the Fender Floating Vintage Tremolo is used as the tailpiece, which allows pitch modulation up and down. From here the strings are passed over the Fender 6-Saddle Adjustable Bridge, whose mute assembly mutes the strings for classical jazz sounds as needed. In addition, Fender Pure Vintage Deluxe tuners on the headstock ensure precise and stable tuning.
