Composed of a classic alder body and maple neck, the Tele appears fully dipped in an Arctic White finish with red detailing and chromehardware. Equipped with two high power DiMarzio pickups and an arcade-style kill switch, the John 5 Ghost Tele delivers hot humbucker tones with modern crunch when amplified. A Telecaster like no other, limited to 600 pieces and including CustomWhite John 5 Fenderguitar case with red lining.
The red binding as well as the mirrored pickguard give the white body of the John 5 Ghost Telecaster from the Fender Artist Series the final touch.
In addition to a kill switch, the Ghost Tele features a classic 3-way circuit and a master volume control.
DiMarzio D Activator Pickups
Two DiMarzio D Activator humbuckers in bridge and neck position deliver crisp singing sounds with pronounced mids and high Output which strongly penetrates as with active pickups. In harmony with the rest of the equipment, the double winders are covered with red plastic caps and convince with their clear string articulation. For fast-paced stuttering effects, an arcade-style kill switch is located below the bridge on the mirrored Pickguard and control panel.
The matching John 5 signature headstock features Fender locking tuners for easy string changes.
Features and construction
The string-through Tele bridge offers space for the bridge humbucker due to an enlarged milling and ensures a robust intonation due to six string saddles made of steel. Furthermore, the strings of the John 5 Ghost Tele run over a sturdy maple neck with Arctic Whitefinish and a red synthetic bonenut.
