In addition to Bluetooth 5.0 for streaming audio files or backing tracks for practice without hindrance, the Mustang Micro headphone amplifier is equipped with an integrated audio interface that allows direct recording to a computer. Last but not least, the Fender Mustang Micro can be used with almost any type of guitar thanks to the swivel jack plug, while the built-in lithium-ion battery provides enough power for up to four hours of playtime.
I was so looking forward to it. It's handy, it has a great battery life, it charges via USB, it has an effective Bluetooth connection, to play background music the easiest way possible. But when it comes to the sound, that is a whole different matter... I've tried every setting possible, with different guitars (Les Paul, Stratocaster, Telecaster), I couldn't find one single sound that was merely acceptable. It's fuzzy, poor, dull. The clean tones as well as the overdrives sound cheap as hell, makes you wanna put your guitar away. I'd rather pay 100 usd more and have something in the lines of the Vox Amplug (which unfortunately don't have bluetooth nor usb charge) in terms of sound. The external "package" is great but I wonder how Fender can be proud of this...
