Fishman Aura Spectrum DI Preamp
Preamp for acoustic guitars with 128 preset images and tuner
With the Fishman Aura Spectrum DI Preamp, the manufacturer Fishman presents a compact preamp for acoustic instruments with numerous functions and setting options. To the device, the manufacturer offers the possibility to import 128 different images via USB to the device and save them on 16 memory locations. These can then in turn be mixed with 7 different modulations, which are amazingly similar in sound to the most common acoustic guitar designs. Thus, the Aura Spectrum DI Preamp creates the possibility to modulate 7 other instruments with one instrument in an uncomplicated way. In addition, the direct signal with the modulations can be conveniently added by means of a blend control. A 3-band equalizer also provides precise adjustment of bass, midrange and treble frequencies, so that each instrument can be individually adjusted. The device is rounded off with an integrated tuner, an anti-feedback function and a D.I. plug-in.
I got my Aura one week now and i cant stop using it both to my live or studio performances. Its a very easy to use machine with multiple images(prerecord studio mic sounds) witch you can blend with the sound of your guitar and get a fully restored realistic acoustic sound and of a compressor and a very useful 3band notch filter
This pedal is great. The only thing I can't decide on is if it needs one more mid pot so there is a little more control of sound. The only other reason it lost stars is that, although its £280, and a great pedal, and does what I what it to, the tuner is crap! I still need to use my boss tuner pedal with it, which you would think I wouldn't have to seeing as this is made by Fishman. On the whole though, really really pleased. It makes an unbelievable difference to a piezo pickup. I've even used it in the studio instead of mic'ing up on occasion.
