Professional compact monitor from Genelec
The extremely compact Genelec 8010A Black offers high transmission quality at a short listening distance. It is ideally suited for broadcast and OB van use, computer workstations and mobile recordings. In addition to the low-distortion chassis for low and high frequencies, the particularly robust die-cast aluminum housing also accommodates the amplifier, filter and protection circuit. Thanks to the two Class D power amplifiers developed by Genelec, the 8010A delivers a clear and neutral sound even at high volumes. In relation to the size of the cabinet, the optimized bass reflex tuning enables amazingly good bass reproduction.
Individual setting options
The speaker can be adapted to the acoustic conditions of the room using switchable filters. This significantly improves the listening conditions. The standard IsoPod stand decouples the monitor from the floor. It can also be tilted and aligned to the position of the listener. After one hour without an audio signal, the monitor switches to sleep mode. When an audio signal is detected again, it switches back on automatically. This function can be deactivated if required. With the analog XLR input, the 8010 can be operated with any professional studio equipment. For stereo or surround systems, the 7050B subwoofer offers an extension of the transmission range down to 25 Hz including bass management for up to five channels.
