With the Gibson ES-330 2018 Sunset Burst , the Gibson Memphis Facility presents a successful replica of the semi-resonance guitar first introduced in 1959. The model in the then popular TD configuration with two P-90 Dogear pickups in the neck and bridge position offers everything from the authentic 'C Rounded ' neck profile to the Hardware classic Gibson Spirit, while more modern features such as the Titan -string rider or the -string rider are also available. Memphis Tone Circuit prepare the ES-330 2018 for modern applications. Last but not least, the Gibson ES-330 2018 comes with a Gibson hard Case shell and a certificate of authenticity for the Gibson Memphis facility.
As a sister model to the famous ES-335, the body of the ES-330 unmistakably follows the unmistakable double-cut design, but does not use a solid center block. Accordingly, the ES-330 is regarded as the classic Thinline Hollow Body with striking acoustic Timbre and perceptible dynamics. The Rounded -'C' profile of the mahogany neck is also authentically based on its predecessor, with the body transition already taking place on the 16th fret, in line with the early ES-330 models.
In the style of the ES-330TD, the ES-330 2018 presents a Double pickup assembly in the form of two MHS P-90 pickups Gibson with a 'Dogear' tab in neck and bridge position. The single spoolers with extra wide winding deliver a hearty Single Coil sound with warm and wide Humbucker character. In the intermediate position of the 3-Way toggle switch, both pickups suppress background noise and, thanks to their Memphis Tone Circuit with Treble Bleed function can be adjusted without loss of sound by volume control.
