The Gibson ES-335 Studio WR Electric Guitar Wine Red Custom Shop comes from a long illustrious line of instruments and this updated version helps to bring this model into the hands of the more budget conscious without compromising on the main qualities the ES335 became so revered for in the first place.

Although similar to previous contemporary models, new appointments for 2016 include a change within the neck pickup capacitor offering a touch more high end and sparkle while the truss rod and neck have been adjusted slightly offering more feel and strength; useful for those on the move. Finally, the front panel knobs introduce independent volume and tone controls normally found on the higher priced models of these instruments.

The body is comprised of a 3-ply structure of poplar (for structural integrity) sandwiched between two sheets of Maple. The Maple known for its brightness beautifully compliments the semi-hollow acoustic properties of this instrument adding brightness to the natural resonance of the overall design.

Pickups come in the form of a ’57 Classic and a Super ‘57 humbucker each delivering their own unique characters that equally compliment the other.

The ABR-1 bridge offers users highly accurate intonation and players will find a highly comfortable experience using this instrument regardless of technique or style of music.
