The Gretsch G2622T Streamliner Bigsby TG Electric Guitar Torino Green featuring a double cutaway laminated maple semi hollow body, Rosewood fingerboard, Broad’Tron humbuckers, Bigsby B60 Tailpiece and a Torino Green Finish.
The rosewood fingerboard offers players of all abilities a comfortable playing experience with an action that does not tire the fingers while the iconic Bigsby bridge offers players excellent control over articulation and expression.
The tone of this instrument is derived from a pair of Gretsch Broad’Tron humbuckers with each offering independent volume control of one another. These are known to deliver a rich warm tone perfectly capable of complimenting more elaborate fingerpicking techniques to bluesy leads and chugging riffs.
In the 50s, the 6189, 6190 and 6191 Streamliners descended directly from the early ‘50s Electromatic. Along with the lower-priced Clipper they were the primary models shoring up the bottom end of the Gretsch line.
Today, and new for 2016, this line of guitars puts Gretsch quality and build into the hands of the more budget conscious.

This is my first ever Gretsch, i own a few other makes and was drawn to this immediately. I had never even picked this up to play so it was a bit of a risk! I love it, it's easy to play and can go from quite warm to twangy at the flick of a switch. With som overdrive it's actually very ballsy - surprisingly so! i would recommend highly!
Excellent Guitar. I usually play semi acoustic guitar for over 50 years only used a strat electric guitar occasionally so purchased this Gretsch G2622T, Was set up by Music Store DV247 and is really easy to play.
Very well made and it's just beautiful. Horrible setup out of the box but can be fixed for 30 mins. Do not hesitate!
