Paul Waggoner Signature electric guitar with Mojotone PW Hornet humbuckers
The Ibanez Paul Waggoner PWM20 White is the signature instrument of Between The Buried And Me guitarist and founding member Paul Waggoner, and as such is designed for relentless progressive metal riffs. With a slim ash Sabre design as a starting point, the electric guitar features a slender Wizard III neck made from maple and bubinga, making it ideal for both tight rhythms and virtuosic leads. The playing possibilities of the PWM20 furthermore are extended by an in-house Ibanez Edge-Zero II tremolo system with matching locking saddle. For sound conversion, of course, its PW Hornet humbuckers made by US pickup winder Mojotone are used, which conjure up juicy high-gain sounds as well as airy clear sounds of the single coil. For this purpose, the slim PWM20 has an additional Coil Tap Mini Switch, which taps the individual coils of both pickups.
