Five string electric bass with PowerSpan pickups and active electronics
In the best Soundgear tradition, the Ibanez SR305E-CUB Cerulean Aura Burst combines unparalleled playing comfort with a modern, versatile sound spectrum. While the streamlined Nyatoh body and slim maple and walnut neck contribute to the five-string electric bass's maneuverability, the redesigned PowerSpan humbuckers, in conjunction with the active 3-band tone control, deliver versatile sounds for every musical style.
The Ibanez SR305E-CUB Cerulean Aura Burst combines high playing comfort and tonal variability.
Typical Soundgear playing comfort
With its Nyatoh body in the typical, flowing Soundgear design, the Ibanez SR305E-CUB nestles up against the player and offers a stable playing position. The four-bolt, five-piece neck is made of maple and walnut, while the flat "D" profile fits comfortably in the hand and the Jatoba fretboard lets fast bass lines and complex grooves roll easily out of your hand.
PowerSpan Humbucker with active 3-Band EQ
The Ibanez SR305E-CUB Cerulean Aura Burst uses Ibanez PowerSpan dual-coil pickups designed specifically for this bass, which, in conjunction with Ibanez Custom Electronics active 3-band tone control, cover a variable sound spectrum. Whether transparent solo and jazz sounds, dirty rock growl, or rich thrust from the deepest bass abyss, the four-string pickup always has the right setting for every style of music and also accurately reproduces the low B-string.
Power tap switch for sound variability
A special feature of the Ibanez SR305E-CUB Cerulean Aura Burst is also the Power Tap switch, which switches the coils of both humbuckers from powerful series connection to Tap or PowerTap mode. While the former delivers authentic single-coil sounds with typical clarity and tone definition, the latter adds a fundamental bass element to this sound.
High quality hardware with unshakable reliability
On the body side, the strings of the Ibanez SR305E-CUB Cerulean Aura Burst are held in place by the proven Accu-Cast B125 bridge, whose solid construction contributes significantly to the long and evenly decaying sustain of the bass. At the same time, 16.5 mm string spacing provides room for clean strokes even when the bass is gripped tightly, while the ball ends, which are mounted from above, make string changes much easier. The strings are held in place at the headstock by reliable die-cast tuners that guarantee precise tuning.

I've never played bass before, but I play guitar. Play a bass was my dream. And my colleagues gifted me a certificate to buy a bass guitar. After research, I chose this one. It was a great combination of price, quality, and amount of strings. It came to me in a couple of days and when I tried it I've gone to nirvana b/c of sound. I'm not a specialist but I do recommend this bass.

An amazing instrument for the money. Low weight, excellent tones, smoothest and least sticky neck I've used on any guitar/bass in this price range. Had it for about 3 weeks now, can't find a fault on it. Sure, it doesn't sound quite like a bass 10 times the price, but I would gig with this any day.
